Monitor Job Description

Summary of Position:

Oversee the safe operation of the attractions while providing friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional and unique entertainment and exercise experience for our customers.  The monitor main functions are to enforce posted rules, maintain the jump areas and carefully observe all customers to ensure a safe and controlled environment and ensure an enjoyable experience. 

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Greet and assist customers entering courts
• Explain jump area rules for each area and enforce the same
• Check and validate wristbands to make sure they correspond with the time paid for
• Ensure that jumpers are not wearing loose jewelry, carrying cell phones or chewing gum
• Coordinate the clearing of courts when the time is up
• Coordinate the turnover of courts when courts are full
• Referee the Dodgeball  games to ensure a safe, fair and enjoyable experience
• Monitor and report vulgar language to any manager
• Check springs, pads and other safety equipment continuously during shift and report any items that may need repair immediately.
• Keep decks clean of food or beverage and ask patrons to please leave the main deck  to enjoy their food or beverage in the lounge area
• Fluff foam pit as needed
• Perform in a friendly courteous manner at all times.
• Refer customer complaints to manager on duty
• Must be able to bend, stoop and be agile in every designated jump area.
• Must be able to stand for a period of 6 hours.
• Must be reliable and a team player. 
• Must be willing to work in all areas of the facility
• Perform other duties as required by management
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
• In the result of an injury, monitor/referee must immediately stop all activity on court and ask all other patrons to leave the court politely and quietly.
